NAIDOC Week
From the 4th – 11th July 2021, NAIDOC Week will celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The National NAIDOC theme for 2021 is Heal Country. This calls for greater management, involvement, and empowerment of First Nations people over country and embracing of First Nations' cultural knowledge and understanding of Country. This is an important week for allies to listen to and support the calls of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Thanks to EnviroJustice for this script.
