EARTHCHAT: International Year of Fruits And Vegetables!

The United Nations has declared 2021 as the International Year of Fruits And Vegetables! Our inspiring guests on EarthChat are renowned Seymour gardener Brian Bowring, and fabulous musician and cook extraordinaire, Jessica Bateman, who will tell us about the benefits of growing and eating organic food.

BEAM Mitchell Environment Group is engaged in supporting a variety of sustainable green initiatives and environmental protections. One of the ways we do this locally is to plant more and more shrubs, trees, and FOOD plants! And, this includes supporting and protecting the vital work of pollinators, especially the Bees, along with the many other pollinator insects and birds.

Brian and Jessica will focus on the 'FOOD' aspects of garden production, and the many ways in which we can deliciously cook freshly picked produce from the garden. Brian will also tell us about Bees and other pollinators.
