EARTHCHAT: Aussie Bird Count week

Updated: Sep 17, 2022

Marie Gerrard will be interviewing Sean Dooley from Birdlife Australia about their major project, the Aussie Bird Count, and how you can be involved in the week of 17–23 October 2022.

The project has been running for many years and gives us great knowledge of trends, a very important aspect of our research into climate change and environmental pressure.

We will examine the enormous added value that this project gives to our knowledge of our local and national bird life.

This is a great opportunity for all of us to take part in a long running citizen science project, and to get the free Aussie Bird Count app that you can use all year long to keep identifying the birds that you see and hear.
