EARTHCHAT: Euroa Arboretum brings back the bush

Updated: Jul 30, 2022

Join Kate Auty as she tells us about the wonderful Euroa Arboretum which stands on Taungurung country, and on an old VicRoads gravel pit. The Euroa Arboretum works to bring back the bush. It has been operating since 1991 with volunteers and a small management team. The Arb now propagates local seeds, manages a seed bank, provides farm trees, operates a retail nursery, runs cultural days in partnership with Taungurung people and promotes bush kinder. We are hearing from management and volunteers about ambitions and programs like bush kinder. In this program you will hear from people who make this happen. This will include Cathy Olive and Carolena Helderman. For more information about the Euroa Arboretum: http://euroaarboretum.com.au
